Everything is spirit. Everything! It is all energy and consciousness. What does the Law of Attraction have to do with this? How does success come about by becoming aware of the Law of Attraction and its principles? Using The Imagination To Control Your Thoughts The imagination is a fascinating, powerful place. For example, remember any incident from elementary school - writing with a fat pencil, perhaps. (Remember those fat pencils?) Now, think of someplace you plan to go in the next month and imagine yourself there. Good. Now, imagine yourself on the moon, looking back at the earth - a big blue marble in the blackness of space. Excellent, isn't it? This is the power of the imagination: we can return to the past, rehearse the future, and zoom off on flights of fancy - all within seconds. The images you had may not have been well-detailed, or held in the imagination for very long, but you probably had some sense of each. Some people primarily see in their imaginations, others primarily hear, others primarily feel. Whatever you do is fine. When you do not have conscience control of the imagination, it is vigorously and creatively used against us. We relive the horrors of the past - the fears that were justified, the guilts that were especially foul, the unworthinesses at their worst, the hurt feelings at their most painful, the anger at its most destructive. Considering the false history created by the mind's careful selection and occasional rewriting, it's easy to feel discouraged about ourselves and everything we might consider doing. The mind also uses the imagination when considering the future. It projects an image of not just failure but monumental failure, embarrassing failure, public and unconditional failure. Considering this opposition, it's amazing that we even get out of bed. The mind (unless you control it) also uses every news story - and every other fictional account - of disaster to show us why we had better not do anything new, ever. It's time to recapture the imagination from your mind's fears. Your imagination is yours. You can remember the past you choose, rehearse the future you want, and identify with the real and fictional heroes and events of your selection. When we remember the good things from our past (and all our pasts are filled with both good and bad), we build an image of ourselves as doers and achievers - charmed, kind and terrific. This forms a solid base for future action. When we project our dreams into a positive future, we see that we can have what we want. A positive image of the future not only shows us how to get there, it draws us to it, attracting us toward our dreams like a magnet. When we hear some good news, read an inspirational story or see an uplifting movie, we can use our imagination to put ourselves in the center of the action. This allows us to identify with all the good, happy and wonderful images in our culture - and know that we're one of them.

The 7 components of vision
When we hear about vision, we often hear the words purpose, dreams, calling, passion and gifts used synonymously. It’s time to clear this up once and for all! There are seven components to vision and understanding each one will help clarify your path. First, let’s talk about this word “dream” that you have heard so much about and how it fits into vision. While a dream is an important part of the puzzle, it is just the beginning. Dreams open up your imagination and ability for your mind to “see” what it is that you can conceive for your life. Many of us model our dreams after the lives of others. While dreams open the doorway, there are 7 components of vision that are through the door that dreams assist you in opening. Dreams alone will not take you to your promised land. If you’ve been dreaming, it’s time to gain the clarity you need to truly manifest your vision. Purpose. The first component of vision is purpose. Your purpose tells you the theme of your life; the reason you exist. To uncover your purpose, ask yourself, “If money and time were not an issue, what I would do and If I could make plenty of money any way I chose, what would I do?” Your purpose gives you a general idea and direction to move, but by itself, it is not the whole picture. Desires of your heart. The second component of vision is the desires of your heart. The desires of your heart go beyond your surface-level dreams to those things you deeply long for, desire and are willing to work for. The desires of your heart compel you in a way that won’t let you go. What do you really want? Scripture tells you that God will give you the desires of your heart if you put His Kingdom first. While dreams require nothing in particular and may or may not come to pass, desires of your heart require obedience and are part of God’s grace, mercy and blessings that He has in store for you. Passion. Your passion consists of those things that bring you joy and fulfill you when you are doing them. When you are operating in your passion, you experience a flow and effortlessness that makes it easy to stay the course. When you are passionate you are excited, inspired, motivated, focused, fulfilled, and walking in your greatness. Within your passion lies the clues that will keep you going. What do you love doing? What are you passionate about? Gifts and talents. The next aspects of vision to talk about are your gifts and talents. Your gifts are those things that just come naturally to you and are not actually taught, they were deposited in you from God. If you did go to school to learn more about them, you probably excelled in them or you were bored because it came so easily to you. Gifts are sometimes challenging to identify because they are such a part of you. What gifts have God bestowed upon you? Hidden in your gifts are the additional clues you need to understand the methods God has given you to make a difference in your area of purpose. Yet, gifts are only half of this component. The other half of this component is your talent. Your talent consists of those things you are naturally good at, but need to practice developing to perfect. What are you good at, but need to be great at in order to effectively operate in your gifting? Together, your gifts and talents create an additional dimension to understanding your specific Kingdom assignment. Area of service. Your area of service is the particular target audience or group of people you were put here to serve. Another way to think about your area of service is your special niche. You are a Shepard. When you are a Shepard, your sheep recognize and respond to your voice and call. God has created you to oversee a flock that can only hear your voice. Who is your flock? Are they scattered all over the hillsides waiting for you to live your vision? Are they not being taken care of because you are in fear or are they tied up tending to the daily obligations that fill your calendar, but are not God’s purpose for you? Who were you born to serve? What does your flock need? Calling. I also refer to your calling as your altitude. Your calling or altitude is the scope of your Kingdom assignment (within your child’s school, the city, state, region, nation or world). Be careful not to confuse your calling with what you think it would be fun to do. Be careful not to covet someone else’s calling. If God did not drop that vision into your spirit, it is not for you. Focus on what God has shown you as your specific role. You will be completely fulfilled carrying out your calling even though others may be doing similar work on a broader scale. Together, all the 7 components of vision should assist you in clarifying the full picture of what you were born to do. Please take some time to get clear about it because it holds the power to change the course of the rest of your life. With all 7 components, you now have all of the tools you need to take the steps toward making your vision a reality.

New age spirituality inspirational stories part 14
The life of every individual, according to the Hindu scriptures, has its peculiar duties apart from what belongs in common to universal humanity. The Hindu begins life as a student; then he marries and becomes a householder; in old age he retires; and lastly he gives up the world and becomes a Sannyasin. To each of these stages of life certain duties are attached. No one of these stages is intrinsically superior to another. The life of the married man is quite as great as that of the celibate who has devoted himself to religious work. The scavenger in the street is quite as great and glorious as the king on his throne. Take him off his throne, make him do the work of the scavenger, and see how he fares. Take up the scavenger and see how he will rule. It is useless to say that the man who lives out of the world is a greater man than he who lives in the world; it is much more difficult to live in the world and worship God than to give it up and live a free and easy life. The four stages of life in India have in later times been reduced to two -- that of the householder and of the monk. The householder marries and carries on his duties as a citizen, and the duty of the other is to devote his energies wholly to religion, to preach and to worship God. I shall read to you a few passages from the Maha-Nirvana-Tantra, which treats of this subject, and you will see that it is a very difficult task for a man to be a householder, and perform all his duties perfectly: The householder should be devoted to God; the knowledge of God should be his goal of life. Yet he must work constantly, perform all his duties; he must give up the fruits of his actions to God. It is the most difficult thing in this world to work and not care for the result, to help a man and never think that he ought to be grateful, to do some good work and at the same time never look to see whether it brings you name or fame, or nothing at all. Even the most arrant coward becomes brave when the world praises him. A fool can do heroic deeds when the approbation of society is upon him, but for a man to constantly do good without caring for the approbation of his fellow men is indeed the highest sacrifice man can perform. The great duty of the householder is to earn a living, but he must take care that he does not do it by telling lies, or by cheating, or by robbing others; and he must remember that his life is for the service of God, and the poor. You re the inspiration
Thank God inspiration didn't wait for me. Had it done so, I'd probably still be trying to ward off the person holding the knife. I wasn't trying to be inspired. I was trying to survive - literally trying to spare my own life. I knew if I didn't hold the door closed then the knife in the hands of the other person would be slashing at my flesh. Trapped in the back room of the house, nowhere else to run, all my weight pressed against wood, knowing the other person wouldn't give up. That was when it happened. Inspiration intervened. 'Put your coat on and let them in,' a small voice inside me whispered. I looked at my coat hanging on the peg, a big thick skiing jacket. Would it protect me? Maybe. I unhooked it as I rested as much of my weight as I could against the door. Slipping it over my shoulders the small voice continued. 'Now let them in a bit at a time. A crack in the door at first, then let it open. When you feel it's right, pull them inside.' It sounded bizarre to me, to allow someone attacking me to come beyond the piece of wood separating us, but that's exactly what I did, disarming them and then holding them until it was safe to let go. You could argue that the small voice in my mind was the voice of common sense. You might call it intuition, spirit guides, God, or just plain crazy! I've come to think of it as the voice of inspiration. Back then the voice of inspiration came as a surprise. Today, it's more of a friend. The example I've given you may have saved my life, but since then it's helped me build and shape my life. As I said at the beginning, 'Thank God inspiration didn't wait for me,' because I don't think I've necessarily been good at preparing to hear it's wise voice. Yet inspiration has been with me, nudging, suggesting and playing around until I follow it's wisdom, change my reality and look back and laugh at myself for not following it's guiding force sooner. Once a man wanted to win the lottery. For weeks he prayed to God and each week when his win failed to materialize, he complained during his prayers. Then one day God came down and spoke to him. 'Meet me half way,' God's voice boomed. 'At the very least, buy a ticket!!' And I think this is a little like what Edison meant when he said, 'Genius is 5% inspiration and 95% perspiration.' Inspiration is just the thought, the idea, the guidance. Perspiration is the practical application, the grounding, the making it happen. And when we get this part right, who knows what great things we can create. Today’s exercise 1. Go about life 2. Notice what goes on outside you 3. Notice what goes on inside you With Love and good wishes Neil

Ideas for controlling stress
In the past, the need for research has not been something that was needed. Now that stress has been shown to help bring about diseases, it is more important. These studies have brought some ideas and programs that will help to reduce stress. What is the big deal about stress and controlling it? Studies show that stress is one of the major causes of illnesses and diseases. It is not the main reason for the disease or illness but it gives you a feeling of being sick and this in turn gives you a more susceptible attitude for being sick. Some of the ideas and programs for controlling stress do not help. There are many that do give someone who is dealing with stress some relief. Listed below are some of the more effective ways to control. You may find that some of them are common to you. Admitting You Have Emotions When the nervous system reacts it is called stress. Anyone who has done investigations into stress will find that you have the desire to run away from it or to stay and fight it. The stress by itself is not the danger, it is the energy that is not eliminated from the body. This energy will wear the body down after a long period of time if not gotten rid of. The best thing for you to do is to start by showing emotion. If you see something funny, laugh out loud. This will get rid of some of that energy. If you are mad, then allow yourself to be mad. It is not healthy to hold it inside. Starting some sort of exercise routine will help to send the energy into the right places. If you are mad, the gym may be a good place for you to go and take it out on a punching bag. The body will be ready to fight when you are mad, boxing is great for relieving this stress. Take Over The Madness It is important for you to be able to allow your emotions to come out. The bad emotions like being mad should be controlled. A good attitude and patience will help you gain control and stop the stress or at least reduce it. If you are able to take a hold on your anger, the need to fight or to run will not occur. Taking Control Of Your Time Reduces Stress One of the oldest ways to reduce your stress level is to take control of your time. This is a part of stress that is known as business stress. This type of stress is caused by the amount of time we are losing to something else. When you take control of your time and begin to be the boss of it, the stress will be lowered. Be Happy With Your Life When you are feeling happy, this will be the best for you. Being happy is all in your mind. You need to start thinking in this way and you will become happier. What is it that will bring about your happiness at this moment? If you mind is telling you that you would like to watch a movie then make arrangements to watch the movie. Think positive and bring along a friend to enjoy it with you.
